Family sessions...the outfits...the coordinating of schedules...the bribery for one smile...the stress!

So many parents of teens put off scheduling family sessions because of all of the reasons above.  There will never be a perfect time, the perfect outfit or everybody in perfect moods.  My best advice...plan and prepare!  Let your children know your expectations before-hand, let them help pick out their outfits and style of hair, involve them in the planning process...and bribery (cough money) still works for teenagers too!

Remember that teens will still pick up on parent's attitude and behavior during (and before) a session.  If parents are stressed, unhappy, complaining...guess what the kids will do??

I encourage families to make a day of it!  Take you daughter with you to get her nails done, join your son at the barber shop for a haircut, enjoy dinner before or after together!

I promise to do whatever I can on my part to make your session as stress-free as possible!

Have fun...and cherish these memories because these teens will soon be leaving and heading off for new adventures!
