Introducing Miss K!

It was such a pleasure to capture these precious memories for the Bartels family following the birth of their daughter.  Big brother was a trooper and was very excited to take pictures with his shirt off!  With a little bribing of a new monster truck he did a great job!  After capturing these poses as a family, dad and big brother headed out for some bonding time while mom and baby stayed for the rest of the session.

I was so excited to try some new props out during this session!  The tie-back and pant set that Miss K is wearing was made the night before from an upcycled sweater.  Although the pants were a little snug on her (she's a little bigger than your average newborn) I think they turned out super cute!  Very rarely do newborns look flattering in "cute outfits"...they just don't fit right.  These sets are a great way to hide that diaper in pictures but still see baby's size...and all those adorable rolls!  I already have 5 more sweaters waiting to be transformed.

I also made a fabric garland to add a little pop of color into the background.  This was super easy but really added a lot to the images!

I hope you enjoy these!
